Here I am with my dad in Saigon in May of 68. I'd just been pulled out of the field and thrown a uniform and beret and put in a jeep and said get to Ton Sun Nhut - your dad will be there at such and such a time. I stunk, I was filthy and no shower and a 3-4 day growth, but made it.
