The Bone Yard

(Steve Lentz Photo. All rights reserved.)		 Last year I traveled to Davis-Mothan AFB at Tucson, Az to look around the aircraft bone yard there to see if I could find a Caribou. I found this one in a civilian salvage yard, but they wouldn't let me go look at it! I told them I worked on Caribous in 'Nam and just wanted to look at this one, but they said, No! Be damned if I know why!! I took this picture ,with a zoom lens, and left. I guess some things never change!

As I reflect on Vietnam, I can't help but think, "When have so many given so much while so few gave a damn"?? Frankly, they can all kiss my butt, because the only regrets I have are the names on the Wall and the only REAL friends I have are the ones who made it back!! Guess you had to be there, right??

I hope some fellow Vets may enjoy seeing the photos!! That's what it's all about!
