I just wanted to send you a picture that I took as we were coming in on an emergency resupply at Thoung Duc in Oct 70. The grunts were being attacked from across the river and the Air Force "Spads" were providing protection by dropping their bombs on the "NVA". Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 463 (HMH-463) was doing the resupply. I'm not sure if the Special Forces were still located there at that time.
