i served with the 5th sf vietnam from nov 1965 to June 1967

i have lots of photos of vietnam - mike force- c-2 pleiku - and even a photo of john wayne at the nco club in plekiu just before he made his movie the green berets. i also did some short stints at B-24 kontum,B-23 ban me thout and 5 sfga headquarters as radio teletype oper. maybe you wont believe me but i got transferred from germany in oct 65 to vietnam and i wasn't airborne qualified or green beret ? i had to wear the green beret but no jump wings . their were about 6 or 8 of us at the time . we were all in the radio oper and teletype mos classification.. like i said i got some real good photos of mike force in action . if you want copies or whatever let me know
