Roy Salinas, KIA

I am looking for anyone with information about SFC Roy Salinas. He was from Edinburg, Texas was assigned to A-238 Buon Blech in early 1968 as a light weapons man. Roy was KIA 01-16-71 with SF.

Someone on this board said it is a small SF world and he doesn't know how right he is. Roy was from a small town in South Texas just 4 miles from where I grew up. We were both assigned to A-238 at the same time in 1968. We were on operation just after Tet and he was pulled out for reassignment. That was the last time I saw anything of him.

All I can find is that he was KIA 01-16-71 at an undisclosed location possibly by friendly fire. If anyone knew him and what happened to him, please e-mail me
