30 years AD, 13 yrs in SF, was on Son Tay Raid, Commanded Det A, Berlin Bde in 66, deputy G3 BBDE in 67, back to Vietnam as MACV advisor during TET 68, seriously wounded at Xuanloc, returned to Bragg, commanded D/5th when they brought the colors back, ended up retiring as Deputy G3 under Col Montel and Gen Kingson - still have a problem with civilians - served in 6th, 3d, 5th and DET A among other SF assignments
