I served at A-103 as executive officer replacing V. Carter. Later served as CO of MSF Co A-113 and subsequently as assistant operations officer at C-1. Those assignments from May 1967 though May 1968.

I returned to I Corps as a AH-1G Cobra pilot with B Troop 2/17th Cavalry 101st Airborne Division. Served then as Cobra platoon leader, operations officer, executive officer and temporarily as CO when commander was KIA in Laos. That service between January 1971 and January 1972.
