I don't know which unit he was in prior to my birth, but I do know that he was stationed in Bad Tolz. I was born in Munich in '62, but by then I believe Dad had already been in the service for 10 years...We moved to Fayetteville in '65, when Dad was stationed at Ft. Bragg.

He went to Vietnam in summer of '67 and served in B 52 in Cam Rhon Bay (pardon spelling...this is all new to me) and in A 102 in Tien Phuoc until 4/69.

We stayed at Ft. Bragg til he retired, but I believe he spent some time in Washington DC as a recruiter before he retired with the rank of SGM. Dad doesn't have an email address, but I am in contact with him on a regular basis, and would happily print and mail any contacts who might find him through your site.
