I was a 91B4S and served in II Corps MF in 1969 and 1970. The Ban Me Thuot Mike Force Battalion stood down after Bu Prang siege in 1969. About 120 yards from the former BMT MF came to the Pleiku MF and formed II Recon Company. I joined them when we were training together outside Plieku. We ran operations in the A/O of A Teams: Plei Me, Dak Saeng, while we lunched out of Duc Co and Dak Pek twice. II Recon company stood down in 1970 and we became a rifle company with about a hundred men in the 4th Battalion, Kontum MF. I lunched out of the following A Teams: Polei Kleng and Plei Mrong and Ben Het twice.
