Robert K. McIntosh III

Robert K. (Mac) McIntosh III. My father. I'd like to see his name
listed. He served in SE Asia with the 1st Cav in (I believe) 1968 and
then the Special Forces in 1970-1971. He is deceased. I am interested
in any records the Army might make available to family members if you
can give me any help with where I might check.

My memories of Fort Bragg are those of a child, remembering those
weird traveling bus/commisaries that cruised the "neighborhoods", and
babysitter SF buddies of my Dad's teaching me the joy of a fried baloney
sandwich so he and my Mom could get out of the "house" that was one of
those tract things that held about five families. Two of those
babysitters died over there, and I only remember them as Gus and Ned,
and will probably never know their last names. But I remember them, and
will tell my children about them.
