Comments: Sure would like to hear from any of my old SF
buddies. I served with the 5TH from Feb '67 until
Jan '68 (left 3 days before tet!). Had extended
for 6 Mos. but never made it back as i got hurt
on leave of all places. Ended up as a Training NCO
for a Pershing Missle Battery in Fort Sill Ok.
after i got out of the hospital as they would not
let me return to Nam because of my injuries. Nam
sure looked a lot better than 10 torturous months
in a "LEG" unit! I still have flashbacks!
