Camp HO NGOC TAO in III Corps The camp was built from scratch on former Saigon University property by ODA 413 from the 1st SF Gp in Okinawa in July of 1964 with the mision of providing a reaction force for teams under the control of the B Team located in Saigon. Long range patrolling,parachute training,air-boat training and ambushes were stressed.

First team leader was Captain DON G GUZMAN, first team sergeant was MSG RONALD "RAT" THOMAS
