Assigned in early '62 from training group to 5th Group as radio operator, about the time of official activation. Went to Nha Trang with first SFOB ("76 Trombones") in early November of that year and worked in radio rooms around the base at Nha Trang and briefly at Pleiku and with A-team at Duc Co. Back to States via 8th Field Hosp and USAF Hosp. Clark Field with Hepatitis A in late '63.

Now semi-retired lawyer in Jacksonville, FL (my hometown). Would be happy to hear from anyone from the outfit.
