Comments: I was an instructor at the first Military Assistance Officer Program, MAAD Division, SWS. I was actually on orders to go to the 46 SFGA on an inter theater Transfer when my orders were pulled and I was rerouted to JFK as an instructor. When I got there in Apr 69 no one knew what I was there for. I was temperarily assigned to the 6th SFGA, and a number of months later finally found by Gen Kelly's staff.( he was the brains behind the new program). In Jan or Feb 70 I became the operations officer of MAAD (Military Assistance Advisory Division.)
