I was stationed in Saigon in 1972-73. MACVSOG was closed down in April 1972 and we reverted to STDAT- 158, we were assigned to Advisary Elment GP-68. we closed down in Feb 73 they all went to NKP in Thailand.. I did not have to go as I was on an Extention. Gp 68 was small conmmanded by Maj. Michael D. Eiland. Cpt Kainu was next in Command

Our team were training North VC in Camp long Thanth (Inner Compound) to insert back up north. They were called (Earth Angles). I was the team Logistic Advisor. Providing the logistics with my counterpart.

GP68 was at the back part of the large VN Compound HQ'ed by OP 35. by the back gate of TSN. We lived in the Stach House on Plantation Road, Close to House 10. I had served in Project Delta in 1969, Spend 6 month there and 6 months at A502.
