Special Forces T/G 1962, 7th S.F. "back up" for mission teams as demo-man, trained w/Capt Donoldson's team among others. Then went to 6th S.F., & was sent to combat eng sch in Ft Bell. V, ran into Yager there, he had been shoot up pretty good & was in re-hab, told me he was to go to West Point after hosp stay that was nov '63, never heard from him again, hope he made it thru W.P.

After eng sch was in 3rd S.F. & went to Navy SCUBA sch. Did mission training for Africa, "Jumbo Bawna" really does mean "Hello Mister".

Then went 5th S.F. Where I had to extend for 1 yr to GET TO GO TO Viet Nam. But it was worth it. I got to meet/train/& work with some great people along the way. After 3yrs of "mission training" I was finally on a go team. Team A-104,"C" Comp, 5th Special Forces, Camp ARO. As a demo man I got to wire that camp for sound before we moved to Ha Thanh. Most of the team was moved all over to other teams, only Lt Estep, Sgt Logan, & myself got to stay w/104 for the full year. All of the replacements were great guys, would really like to talk with any of the old 104, trade photos & maybe even a few good lies.
