My name is Kimberly Belcher-Warhurst. My father served in the green beret in Vietnam. I think he was in the 5th group. He retired as a 1SG. I was wondering how I could find someone who can share stories with me, as he passed away of a brain aneurysm when I was 21 (1996). I didn't hear enough of "those history lessons". A family member also told me that he was one of the first 12 members of SF appointed by JFK to go to Vietnam. Could someone please tell me if this is true or if it is just a myth.
