Lived, worked, treated and fought with my "Bahnar Family" in the village of Polei Krong Brock between Pleiku and Kontum 12/13/69-04/70. Then our team re-located our "Yards" to three clicks East of An Khe in April of 70. On our CA Team of 5 to 6 was Sgt. Raul Torres SF Medic who taught this Medic the Bahnar and Jarai language and the honour and respect I have for the Special Forces and the Montagnard(Dega) People. Have Bu Ku pictures,crossbow,bracelet and many great memories. Our interpreter Lewis(Leiu?)a Halang tribesman was killed shortly after our team broke up and the 4th Div. went home. I, like many of us still live with the shame of our government(at that time)for abandoning our friends and comrades. GOD BLESS ALL! Doc
