Team. The Jarai tribe were the first to sing and play musical instruments. Music is used by the male Jarai to court the woman. They would stand outside the females house and sing love songs.
Jarai songs were also a propaganda tool used against the North Vietnamese and Viet Cong. The songs where so effective that the Viet Cong targeted the Jarai Drama Team Chief for elimination.
The most famous of the Jarai writers and singers was Mr. Ksor Hip, Who spent 14 years in a North Vietnamese Concentration Camp. He now resides in Raleigh NC
