Detachment A-122, 1st SFGA A-122 was commanded by Capt W. Myers during the period 1 June 1965 thru 28 October 1965. A-122, located at Tuy Phouc, Binh Dinh Province, II CTZ, trained RF/PF troops and conducted combat operations. A-1221s operations were successful in pacifying the immediate operational area. Villages in the area were cleared of VC and secured by PF troops. Many civic action projects were initiated, and with assistance from USOM, destroyed villages were rebuilt and repopulated with loyal South Vietnamese.** **  First Special Forces Group (Airborne) Annual Historical Summary: 1965.        TDY teams '64 and '65
