Detachment A-431, 1st SFGA

A-431, commanded by Capt Terrana, was located at Phey Srunh, Tuyen Duc Province, II CTZ, on 30 October 1964. In anticipation of the closing of Phey Srunh and the subsequent turnover of the camp to the local Vietnamese authorities, four members of the Detachment were sent to Post Duc Lac to set up a forward operational base to be used in the conduct of long range operations. Prior to the new camps completion, the Detachment returned to Okinawa. **
