"After Kham Duc was shut down, A105 was relocated to Nong Son where there was a coal mine on the Son Thu Bon. Nong Son, until 1968 had been a marine outpost which was, I believe, overrun. I served at Nong Son until July, 1970. I know it was handed over to the ARVN rangers in October - but I would love to know what happened leading up to then and afterwards. I read a brief article in a German newspaper stating that it had been overrun in November 1973." *

"Kham Duc: after camp was over run returned to Da Nang and then the team moved to the 5th Marine Regiment (An Hoa) base camp preparing for movement to the new camp site at Nong Son" ... From Gene Berenhardt.
