Info from: Harlow Short

One of the major outposts for A-502 providing securty for Nha Trang. Located along the river.

Binh Tan - our main secondary camp located on the river down from the 5th's HQ; some might remember its location as marked by the big grey inflatable dome that housed the MARS communication station.

For information about A-502 visit:
Detachment A-502 'Trung Dung'

Info from: Charles Haynes

I noticed Harlow Short identified the "Big Gray Radome" close to Binh
Tan as a MARS station. If he's talking about the radome past the
village of Binh Tan toward the Song Ba river, we took it over in 1966
as part of a SATCOM station and ran presidential traffic for the year
the original team was there. About 2 months after we left the site
was hit and I could never get anymore information about it.
